City Parks Director Tamara Osei said the department worked closely with neighborhood associations this year to spread events across different parts of the city rather than clustering everything downtown. "We heard loud and clear from residents in the Westdale and Northgate areas that they wanted things closer to home," Osei told the Courier. "This summer, we really tried to bring the programming to the people." Full event details and free registration links are available at millbrookparks.gov.
