MILLBROOK, June 3 — Summer is officially here, and Millbrook's event calendar is filling up fast. Whether you're looking for live music, locally grown produce, or a reason to dust off your grandmother's pie recipe, there's something happening in every corner of the city this week. Highlighted Events This Week
- Creekside Farmers Market Returns (June 4) — The beloved seasonal market opens its 2025 run at Calloway Park, Saturdays 7 a.m. to noon. Over 40 vendors this year, including three new local honey producers.
- Twilight Sounds Concert Series Kickoff (June 5) — Free outdoor concerts begin Thursday evenings at Riverside Amphitheater. This week features blues band The Hollow Bones. Bring your own blanket and chairs. Gates open at 6:30 p.m.
- Millbrook Public Library Summer Reading Kickoff (June 7) — Kids' programming begins at the main branch, 200 Linden Ave. Sign-ups at the front desk.
- Annual Riverton Neighborhood Pie Contest (June 8) — Open to all residents, not just Riverton locals. Entry forms at the Riverton Community Center through June 6. Three categories: fruit, cream, and savory.
